The trees that came to me are very shiny. I ordered pewter doves and trees. It's the first time I did not feel a description was a good match for am item and I have been a customer since the very, very first start of DoreenBeads (and I love this company!). Since the tree are so shiny and don't have the feeling or surface pewter is like, I feel pretty disappointed because I needed pewter ones. I was hoping to match another thing I made for a special gift box. These are solid and nicely shaped. They are made well. They are just not that pewter sort of metal type I thought they would be. If you need shiny trees that are made well, you will like these very much. If the description said SHINY and I got these, I would have given 5 stars. So, 5 stars for what they are. 3 stars because they don't match the description or posted picture.

The doves I received are very shiny and pretty nice for what they are. It's the first time a description did not match the item in over 200 orders. These doves are very shiny. They don't have the feeling or surface pewter is like. I needed pewter ones. So, these are nice and made well, but not what I was thinking they would be. If you need shiny ones, you will like these.

I highly recommend these pewter "stained glass" birds perched on a branch ornaments!! Lovely & looks farrr more expensive than what I paid for them! Great gifts for yourself & others!

My favourite product of the year. This order arrived with a bright silver finish, rather than antique pewter, but I was still just as delighted. They are the best product from Doreen this year! More please in different sizes?
